A steadier way to buy an appliance. No countdowns, no invented discounts, no pressure — just the appliances a house runs on, described accurately and shipped from Orlando.

A steadier way to buy an appliance

Almost everything about buying an appliance online is designed to hurry you. A timer in the corner. A struck-through price that was never charged. Two left in stock, apparently, on a warehouse item. None of it is about the machine.

Strip that away and there are two honest options, neither of them good. The marketplace listing: a "bean-to-cup" machine for $89, four photographs, a specification that contradicts itself between the title and the bullet points, and a brand name registered the week before. Sometimes it is fine. Sometimes the pump fails in a month and there is nobody to email.

Or the showroom, which describes the machine properly and gives you somebody to talk to, at a price that assumes you are also paying for the floor space, the delivery van and the extended warranty they will try to sell you at the register.

We sit in between, quietly. These are mainstream household appliances from established manufacturing, bought in and sold on. We are a retailer, not a maker. What we add is a specification you can trust, an address, somebody who answers, and no reason at all to hurry.

What we will not do

Four of them. Each is a specific thing the shops above us and below us do, and every one of them is checkable in under a minute.

  1. We will not print a price we never charged. There is not a single struck-through "was" price anywhere on this site. A permanent 70%-off catalogue is not a discount, it is a design choice, and it is one of the clearest signals that a shop is not being straight with you. If we ever run a genuine markdown, the higher figure will be a price we actually charged.
  2. We will not sell somebody else's brand as ours. Where a product works with another manufacturer's system — a coffee machine that takes a particular capsule, an accessory that fits a particular mixer — we say so, because that is useful and true. What we will not do is leave a manufacturer's product-line name on a listing and let you assume the rest. Every one of those was taken out of our titles and our specifications before this shop opened.
  3. We will not invent a guarantee. Appliances come with the manufacturer's own warranty and its length varies by machine. We could print "3-year guarantee" across all 40 listings and almost nobody would check. We would rather tell you what actually covers the machine — and where a warranty is silent, or a machine turns up not as described, your rights under federal and state consumer protection law still stand.
  4. We will not use a countdown clock. No timers, no "only two left", no "17 people are viewing this". Our stock levels are what they are, and pretending otherwise to hurry you is the oldest trick on the internet.

What we sell

Forty appliances across four ranges — refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing and coffee. Larder fridges and fridge freezers; electric cookers, dual-fuel range cookers and double ovens; full-size, slimline and countertop dishwashers; bean-to-cup, pump espresso, pod and filter machines.

It is deliberately not endless. Every listing carries a full specification pulled from the manufacturer's own data, stated in inches and pounds, with the questions people actually ask answered underneath it. Where we could not verify something, it is not on the page.

Measurements, in the units you measure in

Appliance listings have a habit of quoting whichever unit flatters the number — a depth in inches, a capacity in liters, a weight in kilograms, all in the same specification table. That is useless when you are working out whether a dishwasher fits the gap you have.

Every specification on this site is in inches and pounds, as the manufacturer published it. Where the manufacturer gave a metric figure as well, we kept that alongside rather than dropping it.

Delivery

Orders in before 2:00 pm ET go out the same business day. Free US delivery on every order, tracked either way, and the tracking number is emailed the moment the label prints. Large appliances go on a two-person service to a booked slot rather than being left at the door.

Full detail is on the delivery page, and returns are on the returns page — including who pays for the return, which we set out in full rather than hoping you do not ask.
